Mother Teresa Middle School is saddened to hear of the passing of Saskatchewan Roughriders legend, George Reed. Reed has been a supporter of MTMS since 2013. His generosity has made a direct impact in helping students overcome obstacles on their educational journeys and his story has inspired many. 

"George used to drop by the school regularly and spend time with the kids. He was a kind, gentle, humble man. He was always so comfortable with our students and always seemed to have such a great connection with them. He will be deeply missed in this community." - Curtis Kleisinger, MTMS Executive Director 

To continue #34’s remarkable legacy, the Saskatchewan Roughrider Foundation and George Reed Foundation recently joined together to create the George Reed Legacy Fund. This fund will ensure continued support for the causes that mean the most to Reed for years to come: Mother Teresa Middle School and Special Olympics Saskatchewan.
