School Community Outreach Coordinator

As our School Community Outreach Coordinator (Middle School Social Worker), you will design and deliver an accountability based, holistic, non-academic program to support at risk, middle years students and their families.  Mother Teresa Middle School is a data driven middle school in Regina, Saskatchewan that is committed to supporting its students through middle school, high school, and post-secondary, to employment. 

The successful candidate will ensure successful intervention protocols in such areas as: attendance, health and wellness, social and emotional development, and crisis intervention. This is a twelve-month, permanent position with a start date of Aug 27, 2024.  


- A Bachelors Degree in Social Work (Masters Degree preferred) with practical training and successful experience in case management and the ability to coordinate and oversee individualized case plans for students. 

- Proficiency with a variety of counselling strategies is essential (ex: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy).

- Strong presentation skills and sound knowledge of trauma informed practices for students and families.  

- Foundational knowledge of the Autonomic Nervous System and regulation strategies for students and classrooms.

- Strong knowledge of community resources available to students and families to address gaps and barriers.

- A portfolio demonstrating proven success and innovation working with marginalized youth and families.

- A demonstrated proficiency in securing and analyzing student data to achieve targeted outcomes.
