Middle Years Teacher – Mother Teresa Middle School

Mother Teresa Middle School is an innovative, independent middle school for motivated students of modest income families.   The school offers small class size, enrichment opportunities, summer programming and supports for students through middle school, high school and post-secondary.  The goal of Mother Teresa Middle School is to set the foundation for a long and fulfilling educational journey and open the door to lifelong opportunities that would otherwise be out of reach for MTMS students.

Recognizing Truth and Reconciliation, MTMS ignites a love of learning and empowers students to embrace their personal and culture identity, while overcoming obstacles and growing their spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social and physical well-being.  MTMS seeks to form spiritual, reflective citizens who exhibit love and compassion, are intellectually competent, engage in healthy behaviours and are resilient, self-sufficient leaders for their communities. MTMS is built on the Jesuit ideal of “cura personalis”, which means care for the whole person.  This includes ministering to students’ spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social and physical well-being. As an Associate School with the Regina Catholic School Division, MTMS seeks to create “People for Others”, using Jesuit philosophies, models and teaching methods to graduate students who are: Loving, Spiritually Alive, Intellectually Competent, Open to Growth and Committed to Doing Justice in the World.
