We hope this email finds you and your families well. As we all continue to adapt and do our part to help flatten the curve on the COVID-19 pandemic, we at Mother Teresa Middle School (MTMS), sincerely appreciate your patience and cooperation. As the situation continues to rapidly evolve, the safety and well-being of our students, staff and the entire school community remains paramount.
With this goal in mind, we have been reviewing the status of all future events. The School has made the difficult decision to cancel or postpone the following events:
The Sky’s the Limit Celebration on May 27 th  has been cancelled. We thank those who have generously purchased tickets or sponsorship for the event. Our office will be in touch in the coming week regarding reimbursement.
Grade 8 Promotion Ceremony scheduled for June 20 th  is currently postponed.
Student Recruitment  has been paused and will resume in the coming weeks with a modified format to mitigate this health crisis.
We want to thank you again for your support and willingness to adapt to the circumstances in this uncharted period in our history. When so many are practicing physical distancing or self-isolating, we encourage our volunteers and mentors to maintain connection and social interaction with MTMS students and alumni. Thank you all for the hard work you are doing to support our students and our greater community during this critical time.
For further updates about MTMS’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, or if you wish to talk further, please do not hesitate to contact Mira Trebilcock, Director of Development by  email   .
