Get Involved

There are many ways to make a difference in the lives of MTMS students and alumni. We invite you to consider how you can uniquely contribute to our “Community for Others”.

To learn more, please contact Mira Trebilcock, Director of Development, at 306-502-3954 or mtrebilcock@mtmschoolregina.com.

Be a Volunteer

MTMS could not undertake this most critical work without the support of our very special volunteers. Volunteers work alongside staff to serve as one-on-one tutors, to run after-school enrichment programs or support students with their reading goals. No prior experience is necessary, but your skills, insight and expertise will be put to good use, by helping our students learn and grow academically.

Be a Mentor

MTMS understands and believes in the transformative power of mentorship. Mentors are matched one-to-one with a current student who shares interests and passions. The Mentorship program aims to provide MTMS students with a trusted, caring role model, who supports their mentee and encourages them to continue their education. The Mentor serves as a second waive of trusted caring adults in the students' lives. To learn more or to become a Mentor, contact Ron Gonzales, Director of Student Supports at rgonzales@mtmschoolregina.com or 306-569-6867 x. 209.

Become a Believer

Blues Believers give the gift of a transformative education, making an immediate impact in the lives of our students and walking with them throughout their educational journey. Blues Believers become an important part of the MTMS family. Because MTMS is nearly tuition-free, benefactors, foundations, and our community play an essential role in providing the educational opportunities and postgraduate support that MTMS students count on for a long and fulfilling educational journey, that sees them reach and succeed in higher education. Launched in the 2019-2020 academic year, Blues Believers help support the cost of a students’ education for their time at Mother Teresa Middle School (Grade 6, 7 and 8).  Currently, we offer three levels of support and are excited to add more opportunities in the near future.
